Foaled on April 8, 1994, Ansata Shaamis was bred at the famed Ansata Arabian Stud in the United States. He was sired by the legendary Ansata Halim Shah, one of the most influential Straight Egyptian stallions of the twentieth century, and out of AK Faressa, a mare tracing to Prince Fa Moniet and the treasured Moniet El Nefous family. This pedigree united two of the most respected influences in Straight Egyptian breeding. Through Ansata Halim Shah, Shaamis inherited the elegance, type, and charisma that helped define the Ansata program. Through AK Faressa came powerful connections to the Moniet El Nefous heritage, long recognized as one of the great female families of the Arabian breed.
