Foaled on September 18, 1999, Ansata Selman was bred by Ansata Arabians, the legendary breeding program established by Judith and Don Forbis in the United States. He was sired by Ansata Hejazi, one of the most admired sons of Ansata Halim Shah, and out of G Shafaria, a mare combining the blood of Prince Fa Moniet with the distinguished Ansata female family descending from Ansata Sharifa.
His pedigree represented a concentration of generations of thoughtful breeding, bringing together many of the most influential names in Straight Egyptian history, including Ansata Halim Shah, Ansata Shah Zaman, Prince Fa Moniet, and Thee EgyptianPrince.

He was exported from the United States to Qatar, where he became part of the
breeding programs that were helping shape modern Straight Egyptian breeding in
the Gulf region. His arrival brought valuable Ansata genetics to a new generation of
breeders seeking horses with both pedigree depth and classical beauty.
Over time, his offspring became established in breeding programs across Qatar,
the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Israel, and other countries, extending the reach
of the Ansata bloodline into multiple continents.
