Teymur B

Preserving the Essence of the Straight Egyptian Arabian

Throughout the history of the Arabian horse, certain stallions stand apart not because of extensive international show campaigns, but because of their importance in safeguarding treasured bloodlines and transmitting authentic breed characteristics to future generations. Teymur B belongs firmly in that category.

A product of the renowned Bábolna State Stud of Hungary, Teymur B represents a remarkable concentration of some of the most respected Straight Egyptian bloodlines of the twentieth century. Revered for his pedigree, classical beauty, and breeding influence, he became an important link between the Egyptian foundations preserved in Europe and the breeders dedicated to maintaining the purity and authenticity of the Straight Egyptian Arabian.

Early Life and Pedigree

Teymur B was foaled on 21 February 1994 at the historic Bábolna Stud in Hungary, one of Europe's most respected centers for Arabian horse breeding. He is a grey Straight Egyptian stallion sired by Assad and out of 214 Ibn Galal I.

His pedigree reads like a collection of the most influential names in Egyptian breeding history.

Through his sire Assad, Teymur B traces directly to the legendary Ansata Halim Shah, whose influence on Straight Egyptian breeding remains profound worldwide. The sire line ultimately leads to Ansata Ibn Halima and the incomparable Nazeer, one of the most important foundation sires in Arabian history.

On his maternal side, Teymur B carries the blood of Ibn Galal I, Tuhotmos, Moniet El Nefous, Kamar, and again Nazeer, bringing together many of the most treasured Egyptian families preserved through the Egyptian Agricultural Organization and subsequently maintained by European breeding programs.

The result was a stallion whose pedigree embodied both genetic depth and historical significance, making him particularly attractive to breeders seeking authenticity and continuity within Straight Egyptian bloodlines.

A Representative of Classical Arabian Type

Teymur B exemplified the qualities long associated with traditional Egyptian

breeding. He was admired for his refined head, expressive eyes, harmonious

proportions, elegant neck, and balanced conformation. Rather than reflecting

modern show-ring trends, he represented the classical Arabian horse valued for

beauty, functionality, and breed character.

His presence carried the unmistakable influence of the great Egyptian sires found

throughout his pedigree. Breeders appreciated not only his appearance but also the

consistency with which he transmitted these qualities to his offspring.

Recognition and Breeding Career

In 1998, Teymur B earned significant recognition in Germany when he was awarded Premium Stallion, received the Gold Ribbon, and was named Senior Champion at the German Stallion Registration event. These honors confirmed the high regard in which he was held by European evaluators and breeders.

Later owned by Robert Schlereth of Al Qusar Arabians in Germany, Teymur B became an influential breeding stallion within the European Straight Egyptian community. His role extended beyond producing individual offspring; he helped preserve a valuable genetic package rooted in some of the most respected Egyptian lines available outside Egypt itself.

Influence on Straight Egyptian Breeding

While some stallions become famous through international titles, Teymur B earned respect through his contribution to the preservation of classical Egyptian breeding.

His pedigree united the Ansata program, Bábolna Stud, and Egyptian foundation bloodlines in a single horse. Through his descendants, these influential lines were successfully propagated throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Breeders seeking correctness, authenticity, and historical continuity frequently turned to Teymur B bloodlines because of the reliability with which they preserved essential Egyptian characteristics.

Today, many pedigrees within the Straight Egyptian community still trace back to him, reflecting the lasting value of his contribution.

Legacy

The lasting influence of a breeding stallion is measured not only by championships but by the generations that follow.

Teymur B served as a guardian of some of the Arabian breed's most treasured Egyptian bloodlines. Through his pedigree, his offspring, and the breeders who recognized his value, he helped ensure that the traditions and qualities established by legendary horses such as Nazeer, Ansata Ibn Halima, Ansata Halim Shah, and Moniet El Nefous would continue into the modern era.

Today, Teymur B is remembered as more than a breeding stallion. He is remembered as a custodian of Straight Egyptian heritage, a horse whose significance lies in the authenticity, consistency, and timeless Arabian character he passed to future generations.
